PM orders probe into phone tapping by Essar

KOLKATTA | West Bengal : PRIME MINISTER NARENDRA MODI has reportedly directed the home ministry to initiate probe into the alleged phone tapping of phone conversations by Mumbai based Essar group.

This issue came after a Supreme court lawyer filed a complaint with the PMO, alleging the firm had tapped the phone conversations of top govt. officials and INDUSTRIALISTS including MUKESH AMBANI in between 2001-06 – Raj Kumar Kolkatta
