JAWAI: India’s Leopard Hills Adam Bannister Wildlife
It is with huge excitement I announce that my work will be premiering on Discovery Channel Asia-Pacific next week (19th October). A career in wildlife has seen me travel, explore and live in some of the most remote areas on earth. My last great adventure involved developing and setting up SUJAN’s JAWAI Camp in south Rajasthan, India. It was here I helped to expose, document, research, film and photograph what I believe to be the most remarkable leopard population on earth. Towards the end of my two year journey, Discovery Channel India realised that the story I was helping to uncover should be told to the world.
And so began the work of putting together what promises to be an epic documentary…
My work in tracking, documenting and researching the leopards will feature throughout the show as a way of illustrating how unique the area is and what it was like to work with one of the world’s most elusive and unknown cats. I will also now be officially credited as an assistant cameraman for Discovery Channel having filmed a large amount of the production.
I hope you will enjoy – Jawai: India’s Leopard Hills, Discovery Channel Asia – Monday 19th at 9pm (India time)
